• Flare nut wrenches have a gear mechanism on the single end head that allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the wrench. 
• The ratcheting wrench head allows a line or other obstruction to pass through it, then closes for full contact around the fastener. 
• The opposite end of the handle provides a more secure grip on the full length of the handle than a double end flare nut wrench. 
• The 12-pt. design has additional grooves that make it easier to connect with the head of the fastener and connect at more angles for better accessibility compared to a 6-pt. wrench. 
• These single-end wrenches come in SAE (inch) sizes.
