The Makita SP001GZ02 is a 165mm 40V Max XGT Carbonless Cordless Cut-Off Saw. Is an excellent addition for carpenters and kitchen mechanics, especially when access to mains power is not guaranteed. Compatible with existing Makita guide rails, this cordless cut-off saw enables straight, clean cuts with ease. Positive stops at commonly used bevel angles allow you to work quickly and efficiently. The blade cover has a blade position mark to grasp the cutting position easily and safely. By using a long ruler (sold separately), SP001GZ finishes cutting work of various kinds of wood with high accuracy by aligning the ruler with the chalk line and placing it on the ruler rail. In addition, Next Generation Technology, Extreme Protection Technology, Auto Start Wireless System, Soft Start, and Dust Collecting.

The SP001G is equipped with easy to set depth adjustments, a depth stopper for scuffing to enable the user to cut a preliminary groove at a depth of 2mm, and positive stops at the most commonly used bevel angles. It also has dual front and rear bevel supports for increased rigidity for precise and accurate bevel cuts and a locking lever to hold the blade in position so that the wrench can be used through the hole in the blade case for easier blade installation and removal.
